Welcome to the 2021-22 year. We are all in this together. As we begin a new year, in person, we are excited to be a part of your year! Everything you need for Explore.Act.Tell. is available on our Resources page.
We appreciate YOU! As an educator using Explore.Act.Tell. this year you are among the first states to have access to the lessons and project plan.
This program is now available for 6-9th grades in 7 states:
- Maine
- Massachusetts
- New Hampshire
- Vermont
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- Delaware
The Foundation for Impact on Literacy and Learning and the Acme and Shaw’s Nourishing Neighbors Foundation are proud to partner together and with you as we solve the hunger and food insecurity issues in your community.
Are you looking for the right place to start? Here are a few of the early comments from our participating educators when asked “Where will you teach Explore.Act.Tell.?”
“I plan to use the program to enhance SEL for the students.”
“I will have time to implement a program with my 9th graders in my Big Brother/Big sister class.”
“I will implement it in my advisory and if applicable in my Vocational Training Class.”
“This will be an after-school program led by my health teacher. Student Council will also drive this initiative during the school year.”
“I will incorporate it into our homeschool group’s studies.”
“I teach special education English classes – grades 6-12. The neighborhood is essentially a food desert, and I would like to teach the kids about food insecurity as well as how they can be the change they wish to see.”
“I will incorporate the program into my biology units of study.”
When you are ready, we are here to get you started with a Zoom Q&A or a discussion with one of our Outreach team members. We can share ways to do the lessons and project in person, virtually or with a hybrid approach. Flexibility is the name of the game!
June 3rd is the deadline to enter the PSA Competition for this year!
