Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine. Serving the needs of Maine residents at 342 locations, the Good Shepherd network of food banks is ready to engage students in solutions for their community.

Project ideas for finding a food bank Massachusetts

Massachusetts

The Greater Boston Food Bank serves as the largest hunger relief organization in New England. Students are welcome to serve in person or through a virtual connection.

The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts meets the needs of its four county area with food pantries, meal sites, shelters and a food bank farm.

Worcester County Food Bank has close to 80 locations where food is provided to local residents. Volunteers can help sort and inspect donated food or work to locate items needed.

New Hampshire Food Bank works with farms, supermarkets and culinary programs to provide food and meals in unique ways. Be a part of hunger solutions in New Hampshire through the “NH Feeding NH” initiative.

Community Food Bank of New Jersey moves food and donations from its central warehouse to the 800+ agency partners to meet the individual needs in cities and towns across New Jersey.  Food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters provide efficient solutions to the great needs.

Food Bank of South Jersey works to end hunger for kids, seniors and families in south Jersey counties. They offer many ways to engage students in their work and make a difference in your neighborhood.

Central Pennsylvania Food Bank offers unique volunteer opportunities including a Virtual Food Drive. Create a project that meets the needs of your community by connecting with one of the 1300 locations.

Urban Creators in Philadelphia  invites students to participate in the Life Do Grow farm. Last year’s Explore.Act.Tell. winners connected with this farm to create and implement their project.
